With a vision to challenge the cycle of poverty, Ange Muyubira set out on a mission to rewrite the social impact narrative of her home country Burundi. Through innovative projects rooted in the fashion/artisanal sector, she is helping Burundian and Ugandan artisans -with a special focus on women, youth and refugees- to become self-sufficient. At the same time, she is shaping the East African region as rising fashion hub.
